Silkura Arts Ryokan, Iida, Nagano

Exterior After

Originally built in 1900, this classic “Machiya” (meaning townhouse) is on a quiet little alleyway, yet being just off Ainomachi street, is walking distance to Kyoto bullet train station, 2 blocks from the Gojo subway station, and close by to Higashi Honganji temple.

We wanted to give it a second chance to provide a quiet resting place for weary travellers once more.
